Take a ride on the London Eye

At 135 metres high, the London Eye is the world’s tallest observation wheel and the perfect way to see the whole city. One whole rotation of the London Eye takes 30 minutes, and visitors step on and off without the wheel ever stopping. From the top, on a clear day you can see as far as Windsor Castle, almost 25 miles away.

London Eye Location: The London Eye is situated on the south bank of the River Thames between Westminster Bridge and Golden Jubilee Bridges.

Visit Madam Tussauds & have your photo taken with Kim Kardashian

Madame Tussauds is a waxworks museum that contains wax sculptures of famous celebrities, world leaders and cultural icons. Set up by wax sculpture Marie Tussaud in the late 19th century, it is over 100 years old and is one of London’s favourite tourist attractions.

The wax sculptures are lifesize and range from Kim Kardashian and Beyonce to Hollywood A list stars like Tom Cruise and Daniel Craig to David and Victoria Beckham and Adolf Hitler. One of the most popular sculptures is of Harry Styles.

Location: Madame Tussauds is on the Marylebone Road , Central London.

Open every day of the year. But the queues for entry can get very long, so it is best to buy your tickets in advance.

Spend the day at London Zoo and see the penguins being fed

London Zoo is a great place to spend the day. Located at the north end of Regents Park, the 35 acre site has over 750 different species of animal. Opened in 1828, London Zoo is the oldest scientific zoo in the world.
Watching the penguins being fed is one of the zoo’s highlights. Another popular attraction in the zoo is the Monkeys walkthrough. The enclosure houses a breeding group of black-capped squirrel monkeys in a habitat designed to recreate the Bolivian rainforests. Well as close as is possible in the centre of London!
