Trooping The Colour is one of London’s most spectacular annual events, Every year in June, the King’s Official Birthday is marked by a military ceremony known as Trooping The Colour. The spectacular event features over a thousand British soldiers and 200 horses. After the parade, the Royal Family gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to greet the crowds and watch a fly-past of airplanes belong to the Royal Air Force.

Events begin at approximately 10.00am, with the fly-past at 1.00pm.

Where can I buy Trooping the Colour tickets?
It is not necessary to have tickets as you can stand and watch for free but if you wish to have a seat in the stands you need to apply by visiting www.kbp.army.mod.uk
Tickets go on sale in March.
